Biography

Gregg has been playing the organ since the age of 7.  His extensive repertoire continues to delight audiences wherever he plays.

He has performed at Disneyland in Anaheim, California and has played for numerous organ clubs, extravaganzas, theatres and countless public and private concerts.  His concerts offer music from the turn of the century through the Big Band/Swing era, into the 50's and some of today's most popular tunes.

Gregg's love of the "Theatre Organ" is realized in his Silent Film Concerts where he showcases such classics as Charlie Chaplin, Harold Lloyd, Buster Keaton, Our Gang, Laurel & Hardy and many more!  Gregg's ability to bring musical life to the silent movies captures the essense of an almost forgotten era!  His sense of humor endears him to all audiences.  His great aunt was a well known theatre organist to the silent movies and gave Gregg many ideas he currently incorporates into his shows.   Gregg scores all his own silent films and performs each film the way Gaylord Carter suggested to him years ago:  "The element you use in accompanying a silent picture is Imagination".

Gregg is Director of Education at Music Exchange located in Newcastle, California.  Currently, enrollment in the organ classes at Music Exchange is over 150 adults who attend weekly classes.  He is currently working on a series of registrations that will be available to the public which is scheduled for release at the end of 2009.  Aside from his travels for Yamaha on Crystal Cruises, an ongoing concert schedule and his teaching, he always makes time for causes he believes will further organ music appreciation.

Gregg is a member of the Sierra Chapter of the American Theatre Organ Society.  He also  participated in the 2008/2009 Roland OrganFest competition of which he took second place in the professional division.
